Hello Cake eaters! Welcome to the Yellowcake Shop blog, the basis for all information regarding our shop and events. As our first official blog post airs, we'd like to introduce you to our team!
Valerie Mayen is the fashion designer and owner of the Yellowcake Shop. She is an avid mango eater as well as a major David Bowie lover. Val studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art and has traveled all over the map! She takes great pride in her incredibly constructed garments!
Bridget really enjoys running and Cross fit workouts; she completed her first marathon last month! Bridget will earn her master's degree this summer in Communication Management from John Carroll University. She is a vegetarian, and has numerous nicknames including Beezer, Pidge, & Bridgy-Bridge!
Meg is a new intern and the mind behind the Yellowcake blog. She is a student at Bowling Green State University majoring in Fashion Journalism. Meg loves walking her dogs, long boarding, writing, shopping for shoes, drinking green tea and watching really lame, low-budget horror movies.
Emily is a recent graduate of Ohio University who loves anything and everything
OHIO, but most importantly the Cleveland Browns. Her guilty pleasures include
dancing in public, lip syncing in standstill traffic, and cupcakes. She will
strike up a conversation with anyone, so stop in and say
hi!
Sonya is one of our newest interns. She attends The Cleveland Institute of Art, majoring in Jewelry & Metal-Smithing. Sonya obsesses over gold and pink, loves shopping and always carries a bag of gummy candy in her purse!
